I want to start off by saying: I am not a brown person. I don’t like brown much at all. Even with a vibrant shade as this. When the color was announced for the week, I went “oh no!!.”
I thought that I would have to sit out this week until I remembered about having a few Maple Leaf blocks from a swap that I participated in a while ago (June 2001). I am making a quilt with them – some have been set in the quilt, some are loose waiting to be added. The ones that were set in the quilt were from the first swap of blocks. The ones that have not were because I decided I wanted more blocks for the quilt and hosted a second swap. The quilt is currently on my UFO List.
To finish the quilt I need to get some good unbleached muslin. I need some for several projects, so once the no-buy ban is lifted I will try to purchase some yardage if I think about it.
UFO list…never heard of it….*grin*
