Yep - there is evidence that sewing has been going on in my sewing area. I actually sewed the first time this year today. Here is some scraps to prove it:
Now I can’t show the full block just yet (one reason is because I haven’t finished it yet) because it is for my guild’s retreat. You may remember at the fall retreat for my guild, I won the signature blocks. The duty of the winner of the blocks has to design the next retreat’s block. So, that is what this is for. Since a few from my guild probably read my blog, I will keep it a secret a little while longer - at least until the January meeting.
Another thing you might notice going on with these photos is they are watermarked. Now I don’t expect anyone would want to take and use my photos as their own without permission, but to keep myself safe, I have decided to watermark them. I am using a plugin for wordpress, and if anyone who uses wordpress on their own server is interested, just let me know and I can get you the details. Another thing I will be adding in the near future to the website, is a copy write statement at the bottom of the pages. If you like something, link it. I will try to add “incoming links” to the sidebar so that you can get fair return on your link that you post to your blog (I am trying to figure out the technical part of that right now).

I need to get to a little “evidence of sewing” myself. Regarding all the technical stuff, I haven’t attempted that learning curve yet!
You make me want to work on my quilt again but I have so many other things going on that I can’t get to it. I’d love to know what plugin you used for the watermark.

Kim, Just left your web site. Love the Log Cabin Star!! Any plans to publish the fabric requirements and cutting instructions? I know I read in your last entry you are working more on sewing than patterns now, but this has intrigued me. If you are not going to, guess I will have to get out paper and pencil and my trusty Fabricalc…. Have a great new year. We will keep you and yours in our prayers while hubby is away.
Hey Kim! Just discovered your new website. I had thinking to post round 1 pic of the Ostrich RR, but I think I have a problem….it looks like the picture site is by Flikr (sp?), and to post we would have to sign up for Flikr/Yahoo. Therein lies my problem…computer belongs to dh, and he as declared it to be a Yahoo free zone, therefore, it looks like I might not be able to post any pics…..
