Q4P Closing

I don’t know what happened to the email, but the Q4P ring is closing on 11/6.  (update:  my email account says that I have sent too many bulk emails today – and that was only one!).

I thank everyone who has helped with the ring recently.

I have enjoyed everyone I have met through here – but I think it is time for this incarnation of q4p to close.  Suzette (swooze) has asked to take over the ring.  I am perfectly fine with her using the q4p name and idea and running with it to make it her own.  Though I would prefer it if she started a whole new ring (she can still use q4p name, etc).  I will keep the ring up  long enough and if she wants to set up her own details and such I will pass along any new information from her .

Thank you all and I have met some really nice people through the ring and I will still continue to visit your blogs regularly.

    Hi Kim!

I just read that the ring will close next week and I thought that I missed something…………
And now I found your post.
It`s really bad that this happened to you! Unbelievable!

Thanks for your patients and the good job you`ve done!!!

It´s wonderful that Suzette will continue the ring. I really enjoy reading our blogs.

    Lots of greetings from Austria

Kim, thank you for all you’ve done for us – it’s much appreciated. I hope you’re going to continue with your blogging, and I hope I can stay with the ring.
    *hugs*
    Tazzie :-)

It is such a pity and surprise! Well, all I want to say is –Thank you!
I shall give you a bow, as it is my custom.
    Wish you all the best!

Everything has a natural end, but it’s always sad to see. Thank you so much for all you’ve done. You began a ring that included those of us that are a little more casual with quilting and didn’t quite fit in other rings. You helped us all tiptoe into the world of blogging and helped us “meet” so many nice new friends! I hope we can still follow your adventures – (((HUGS)))

Dear Kim! I’m really sorry to read this post saying you will stop the ring, but I can understand your decision. Thank you for creating it, and letting all of us get to know one another! The ring has been a great way to meet bloggers I never would have heard of otherwise. Take care! And I will keep on reading your blog! Hugs from Anne Ida

    Hello Kim.
If you have sent a mail about the ring closing I have not received it, but found out by visiting your blog today.

I am grateful for the work you have put into running the ring and I appreciate that it is a lot of organization.
Sometimes life take turns that calls for new or other actions.
Take care – I will still stop by and say hello :-)

I’m away in Houston and internet has been scarce to use….so getting this news a few days late (and never got the email about closure). I’m kinda sad, but you need to do what’s for the best! I hope everything is ok.
