Quilty Mail, a Sneak Peak, and Quilter’s Home
Today was a fun quilty mail day. I recieved two packages.
First up was a package from my favorite online shop, the one my husband hates to see me looking at because I ALWAYS find something to order. From the Fat Quarter Shop, the first of my Layer Cake Club shipments. The fabric line is “Water’s Edge” by Blackbird Designs.

Last was a package from Thousands of Bolts - my next favorite online shop. I haven’t been shopping there much lately because I have been so into the Jelly Rolls and newer fabrics. I did need to buy some backings for some quilts to finish them up though. The orange is for Licorice Spice and the pink/purple is for Weedwhacker Star.

Now for the sneak peak: Yes… another new project. I can’t help myself. With such great fabrics coming in every month I am inspired to do new things.

I FINALLY got my March Quilter’s Home magazine in the mail - after purchasing it at the store because I was worried that I wouldn’t get it in the mail and I would have to go on a hunt for one. I can’t miss an issue!! So now I have two magazines. I will take the one I bought to the guild meeting on Monday and put it out for a door prize.
Speaking of the guild meeting, the program is “Sewing Room Extreme Makeover” - well there isn’t any makeover going on, but basically guild members showing photos of thier sewing rooms so you can get ideas to change your room up. Mine will be shown and the results of my letter to “Hey Mark!” in the January/February issue. I will post on Tuesday photos of my sewing area since there are guild members who might read my blog. I really like what I have done and don’t need to “fake clean” as Mark suggests…. or as much, since I don’t actually mind leaving my design walls (yes… that really is a plural) up now.

I love those red, white and blue fabrics. They will make a gorgeous quilt.
Paula - thank you. The fabric line is “Red, White, and Bold” by Moda. - The quilt turned out quite cute; I have to download it still from my camera card.

Will look forward to hearing more about your Sewing Room Guild Meeting. Gives me a good idea for our guild program for 2009. Thanks!
