A Peach in Stitches

Our guild was very fortunate to have Tracy Brookshire come and do a class and a lecture last week.

The lecture was “A Love Affair with Japan” and a trunk show afterwards. The class, which I wasn’t able to attend, was her famous Bento Box.

The lecture was a slide show about quilts from a quilt show in Japan (sorry, I can’t remember which one) - that happens in January. The quilts in the slide show was exquisite. It was very nice to be able to see some of the quilts there. While I took photos of almost every slide, with her permission, I won’t show them here.

Her trunk show consisted of her pieces of her popular patterns. Here she is with one of my more favorite of her patterns.
