Patchwork Party 2008
Is anyone doing this? I am a sucker for these things. I just love the line that it is going to be in - “Prairie Paisley” - just the name says “buy me” to me. I love all things paisley.
I am also a sucker for Marti Michell BOM-type blocks.
I really love this setting though from Homespun Hearth - it is very cool. I normally don’t like the settings that the shops come up, but this one sings to me.
I am just hooked. Now to save up my money.

I love this quilt. It is so striking!!!!
I love the looks of the new quilt BUT I am thinking it might be over my head as far as cutting and sewing. I cmight try. I have done the oast 2v summers quilts and loved them.

Judy - i can’t wait to buy it. Only you know for sure if you can do it or not. I am still very new with appliqué and plan to do it by machine. I have done the last two patchwork parties, and just love love love them.
I have been longing to buy that fabric group. My shop had kits made up for the Moda U version and sold out in a couple of days! I may end up doing the BOM Patchwork Party. You like the Marti Michell templates do you? I’ve never tried them, but am curious. Do you have to buy all the templates separately from the BOM kit?
Nicole - I love the Marti Michell templates! I loved them and had them (Sets A-D, L&M) for a while before I had even heard of patchwork party (and before they went up in price!). You do have to buy the corresponding templates for the group separately - but there are paper templates that you can use with each pattern. I think this “party” requires set A for sure and C for some patterns.
I’m a sucker for Marti Mitchell as well. I have always loved her…I love the swirlies here.
The swirlies are great. I just love this setting. Can’t wait to get this quilt finished. Now to just find the time…
