When I thought my husband was going to leave for deployment, I put this quilt on the top of the list to be completed so he could take it with him.

Your quilt is wonderful, Kim! I sure you are so happy and relieved that your DH isn’t going to be deployed. That is wonderful news!!!
AWSOME!! I’m working on my second one in this pattern…pink and green for my daughter! It’s a great pattern and I love the name and colors of yours!
Love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great quilt Kim! It’s on my “someday” list.
I will “e” you later as I need some help planning sightseeing stuff when DD and & I are in Hawaii in a few weeks! I love seeing your playing tourist pixs and I think it will help us!
As a military spouse myself I wanted to write and tell you how happy I am for you that your DH gets to stay home safe and sound where he belongs!!! Now every time you look at that quilt it will hold a special place in your heart. Wonderful!!!

I love, love, love this quilt. The design and color choices are awesome. You Rock! Congrats on all your new purchases. You will stay busy with them for quite a while.
I love this pattern and your color choices are great. Glad to hear the good news that your husband won’t be staying home.
oops…I meant glad to hear he IS staying home! I’ve made more typos in the last couple days….my fingers are working faster than my brain.
Lisa D. - Thank you, I am happy he doesn’t have to go.
Toni - thank you (love your new gravatar!!).
Karen - thank you!!!!
Irene - The top went together very fast. About your trip to Oahu, let me know when you are in town, we can go for a coffee/jamba juice just for a bit. I know you will be very busy, but I would like to meet with you for a little bit if you can.
Dawn - thank you for the wonderful comment!! I am glad he gets to stay home.
Mary - thank you, and I knew what you meant and that it was a typo….
Good golly Miss Molly — er Kim — this quilt is drop dead gorgeous!

What a beautiful quilt. The pattern looks like an old weaving-pattern. Cool colors too
Thank you Solvi. The pattern is “Birthday Presents” from Atkinson Designs in the booklet “Take two and add a few”. My hubby picked out all the fabrics.
Nancy — thank you!!!!!
