Lookie What I Got!

I got a couple of things in the mail and from friends recently that I wanted to share with you.

First up, I got my Mystery BOM Quilt kit, backing, and block one from The Fat Quarter Shop.

Next, in the same package, I got a Jolly Pack of Home for the Holidays II fabric.  I missed out on ordering for my finishing kit (mainly because I can’t decide how to finish that one) for the Fall 2007 Patchwork Party.

Then, my friend Mary got me these wonderful red FQs and threads.  I had sold her a jelly roll I wasn’t going to use and in lieu of payment, she stopped at the quilt store on her to/from coming out to my area of town and picked them up for me.  I specifically asked for the thread, but “any true red FQ” to make up the difference of the price.

My friend Sally picked up this yard of fabric for me when she and the girls went to another quilt store downtown.  Our bee is called “Sassy Stitch and Bitch Pin-Up Quilters” - and we have Hawaiian Pin-up girls as our “mascots”.

Isn’t that just the cutest fabric???
