June just seemed to fly by. While I got a lot done the first two weeks of June, I did’t do much the last two weeks.
So, what did I get completed?
- One of the main things was Piecing the Irish Chain back, but it turned out it was already done. So that lent to getting it sandwiched faster. I even started to quilt itI , but had to put it up when the cable guy came (for TWO HOURS!!) to fix a problem, and never brought it back down.
- I got two Home for the Holidays blocks and two Prairie Paisley blocks completed.
- Not only did I work on my Autumn Leaves block, I got the flimsy done and also bought thread and cut batting for it.
- Not on my initial list, I got my Batik Confetti to flimsy stage and yesterday, I also got batting cut for it.
- Another extra on the list, I got a Map not to Scale block done. It has prompted me to say that I am abandoning the project.
What is in store for July?
- Finish Irish Chain quilt - quilting and binding.
- Sandwich and finish Batik Confetti and Autumn Leaves.
- Quilt and bind: Disappearing 9 Patch and Lucky Stars.
- Make BOM Blocks for HQG meeting.
I am probably over-ambitious, but I would really like to get these quilts off my WIP list after all. We shall see.

I was just sitting here thinking the same thing! I won’t get much done in July because we’re going to be gone 10 days and then I have family visiting but I’m going to try to make some progress - wish me luck!
Mary - I never got around to much this month, it is hard to believe how fast it went by.
