Here is the center of the quilt.  I used the Moda “Sent With Love” jelly roll and a pattern from “Scrap Basket Surprises”.

My dilemma is this:

Should I go with how the pattern says to complete the quilt (the red on the outside is the binding)?

Or should I just finish it with the inner border and bind it (again, the red on the outside is the binding)?

I have a deadline on the quilt and really need to get going on it. So any advice would be appreciated.
