Sent With Love – Help needed

Here is the center of the quilt.  I used the Moda “Sent With Love” jelly roll and a pattern from “Scrap Basket Surprises”.

My dilemma is this:

Should I go with how the pattern says to complete the quilt (the red on the outside is the binding)?

Or should I just finish it with the inner border and bind it (again, the red on the outside is the binding)?

I have a deadline on the quilt and really need to get going on it. So any advice would be appreciated.

I like them both, but if I HAD to chose one, I would go for the, green border then the red binding.

I would use the green border with red binding. If you have enough of the red, you could put a little red “stop border” (my own quilting term–LOL), then the green border, then the red binding.

The pieced border seems to be ‘fighting for attention’ with the main quilt — JMHO.

Whatever you decide, I know it will be great!

The pieced border is too busy for the activity happening in the center. I like the green print for a border and red binding.
