Paris in the Fall– Month 1

Woohoo.  I got my Paris in the Fall month one blocks done today.  They came on Saturday.  This is only a six-month block-of-the-month, so maybe I can stay caught up.

I used my Superior bottom line thread and super bob bobbins.  I also got my Superior titanium needles in the 70/10 size and oh my!  Together they sewed like a hot knife going through melted butter!  My piecing was so accurate!

Monday Milestones–11/29

Last Week’s goals

1.  Catch up on “Hearth and Home” BOM

2.  Work on Arrowheads – I made four more blocks.  I also cut out all the 8.5” squares to prep.  I have decided that I will hand-dye the border a dark blue.  So for all you hand dyers out there – which procion mx dye would mimic the color of dark indigo?

Other things I did this week was not too much.  I made a sample of what I am going to make for my Tuesday bee’s gift exchange. I can’t show that because a few people read my blog.  I have until the second Tuesday of December (when we meet) to make 12 of my gift.

I also updated my blog yesterday as you probably could tell by the multitude of posts.  I also had to help my daughter with her rainforest diorama.

This week’s goals

1.  Paris in the Fall BOM – month one.

2.  Work on Tuesday bee gifties

3.  Work on other gifties.
