I am still alive

I am still alive.  Just extremely busy.

All of my things made it to San Antonio.  I still have four boxes to unpack and put away for my sewing room. All but three boxes for the rest of the house have been gone through and either put away or stored.

I started college again three weeks ago.  It has been insane!  17 hours in four classes.  I go at night from 6-11pm; one class a night.  I have not even unpacked my sewing machines and tested them.

I am hoping once my kids start school in about a  week and a half, things will calm down a bit more because I can do homework while they are at school in a quiet house and enjoy my weekends.

The one good thing about taking so many classes at a time is that I will graduate with an Associates in Applied Science in 15 months.  So if you only hear from me sporadically in the next few months, you know why now.

About Kim

I am a mom of two that now resides in San Antonio area. I moved from Hawaii a year ago. I am a full-time student that works part time at the college I attend as a work-study. When I have time, I quilt, make jewelry, and now craft with my new silhouette cameo cutter.

  1. You go girl – not an easy task, school, kids, home. I know I’ve been there. Hang in the results are worth it.

Keep going strong, and good luck!

  3. Kim. Did you ever finish your hearth and home quilt?! Mine turned out beautiful! I was thinking of selling it ( do you know where I’d list something like that – expensive ya know?!). Would love to see how yours turned out
