My first finish – halfway through January, was “Oh My Lucky Stars”

Closer to the end of the month, I finished the top for the Sweet Treasures Block of the Month.

February:

Near the beginning of the month, I completed the Neptune top.  It was the only “finish” of the month.

March:

March didn’t see any finishes.

April:

I made a quick baby quilt for my husband’s boss.

I also finished my Emma’s Legacy top:

May:

May saw the completion of “Sent with Love” top for my niece.

June:

I completed the top “Sent With Love” above, but forgot to take the picture.

July:

Surprise, another no activity month.

August:

After the inactivity, I started simple with some coasters:

September:

I quilted and finished my Friendship braid quilt.

I made a charm square tote.

I dyed fabric.

I completed my “Pumped Pumpkins” quilt.

Another charm bag with jelly roll strips instead of charm squares.

It seems like September was a flurry of activity!

A very productive year.  This was just the “finishes” and not counting all the projects I started.

There are still a few projects that have been completed, tops completed, and still in pieces that have not been photographed (or none that I can find anyway) that I will share in the coming months.  Until I sat and worked on it; I didn’t realize I had actually completed so much!!  It makes me feel great!

But then I also look at my Projects in Progress page and think – “oh my! how did I get to this amount?” – though I already know the answer; I can’t resist a new project!

This is my “Spring Dance” pattern.  I wanted to do it in grays and red.  Completed  in Oak Harbor, WA. 2006

This quilt was made for my daughter’s first birthday.  It was completed 8/1/2006.  I also made a matching crib sheet.  She still loves this “blankie”.

While living in Washington, the guild I belonged to participated in Quilts of Valor.  I made this quilt from my pattern, Twisted Rail, but scrappy.  It was completed around June 2007.

One night, I stayed up late and couldn’t sleep and drafted BQ into my EQ5 program and debated whether I should get up and take photos of the fabrics so I could see what it would look like.  The next day, I made one block and then photo shopped it into a quilt.  I loved it.  This is about 1/3 scale of what the pattern is. 

Fast forward to last year when I finally finished the top.  I am thinking next week is the week that I need to sandwich it and possibly quilt it and have it ready for my bed in time for “fall” – not that there really is a fall here in Hawaii.

I am going up to one of the local quilt stores (the Tuesday Bee is held there once a month) – and I can pick out thread.  They carry “King Tut” and I am very fond of it for quilting.

This quilt was completed September 2009.

I made this from exchange blocks. It was made just large enough to cover Kirah in her car seat and not hang down and get caught in the base of the car seat.

It was taken out the day it was made and lost that very day.

This quilt top was completed in October 2006.  It is still currently not quilted.  It is not like a traditional bento box in the fact I changed the layout. 

This quilt was my first original design.  I completed it, though it doesn’t show it in the photo.  I forgot to take a picture after the binding was done.  This was completed circa July 2005 in Oak Harbor, WA.

It was given to a friend who moved to VA right around that time.
