3.  Tablet Stand.  Yes.  Another one was made.

4.  Top for Arrowhead.  Nope.  But it was worked on.  I have one more row to add and the borders and it will be completed.  So it was worked on, just ran out of time.

So what is for February you ask?

1.  Finish Arrowhead

2.  Work on my challenge quilt for the guild.  Unfortunately, no photos can be posted of this until mid-May when the participants are reveiled.

3. Quilt Prairie Paisley

4  Quilt 39 and Holding

Good luck with all of your jobs.  Head to see Judy L. to see what other’s are making and join in on the fun!

My Favorite Schnibble

I would have to say that my favorite schnibble from last year has to be Bounce.  I am even planning on making another one, much larger though sometime soon.  This was also on my “getting it done” list for this month to quilt it.

I just finished the binding on Monday:

Baby Bounce:

It is just baby-quilt sized.

I stitched around the outside of the stars and that awesome border, I still have to trim some of my trailing threads, I see..

Here is the back:

and I made a matching pillowcase:

I hope the recipient enjoys them… when they finally get to them.

Getting it Done– A Mid-Month Update

gid-large-update

I thought I would check in with my status on the Get it Done Challenge.  I have completed two of the four projects that I had listed.

First up, a not-so-good photo of my new tablet stand.  I still am not thrilled with it, but it serves it’s purpose and maybe someday I can figure out what I am doing wrong with the pattern.

Next up, I quilted Drop.  Boy, I had to keep checking that my sewing machine was actually sewing it was so quiet after coming back from the “spa”.

It looks a little wonky because I had it folded up in a bag since Tuesday when I finished the binding.  I forgot where I put it and today when I cleaned up my sewing room a bit, I found it and thought I should take a photo of it before I forgot it.

Only two more things to complete that is on my  Get It Done Challenge list; Quilt Baby Bounce and finish a top to Arrowhead.

Getting It Done Challenge

Judy L. has a new challenge instead of her monthly UFO Challenge – to Get it done.  You list four things you wish to get done in the upcoming month.

I have designed a banner/button for it since there wasn’t one.  You are welcome to use either one for yourself, but please save the image to your own blog.
