Whoo…. boy do I need to go on a fabric diet! My purchasing has gone way out of hand.
I am going to see if I can go at least one month without buying anything quilting related. I know I won’t be able to go two months, because I signed up for the 2011 Designer Mystery BOM, finishing kit, and backing set that will be in June.
All of my other BOM kits are finished. I am all done with the exception of paying for my husband’s quilt to be done. Since it was done in April, it will not count towards this.
So… here we go…
1. Complete Coconut Shaved Ice to “flimsy” stage.
I didn’t get this done. I did get a little done on Saturday – I quilted half of Red, White, and Bold.
My hubby came home a bit early from his trip and things were a bit hectic.
1. Clean Sewing area. It is a mess!
2. Finish Red, White, and Bold.
Hubby is off work this week, so I don’t know what else I will get done. I just want to spend time with him.
1. Piece a couple of backings. I tried. I got one “pieced”, I thought. then saw the stitching didn’t work for some strange reason.
2. Sandwich a few more tops – 5 left that have batting cut. The above through me off.
3. Hand sew the hanging sleeve on Wonky Pineapples. Can say I got this done!
4. at least 3 basket blocks for Hearth & Home. Didn’t even look at these.
I completed one quilt, “Diamonds are a Girl’s Best Friend”. I also worked a little bit on “Coconut Shaved Ice”.
