Midnight Rose in Bloom
We decorated for Halloween inside my house already this year. One of the things I like to do is change out the quilts on the wall for each season. I did not have a large enough quilt for the “big” wall for Halloween. This made me get in gear to complete this quilt. This quilt is the perfect size for this wall in my living room. I did not notice the error in the upper right-hand corner of the quilt until it had been on the wall for a few days. Oh well… creative license, right? And here is the back. This was such a cute quilt! Related Images:

Red at Night
This is a new BOM that started this month. I am a sucker for blocks of the month. This one is coming from Stitchin’ Heaven. This will be a 14-month BOM and it is not a mystery. This program includes everything, including the backing. Though when I was working on block 1, the fabric given does not include any “oops” fabrics. I am going to have to measure three times and cut once with this BOM. Related Images:

2025 Designer Mystery
I snuck these blocks in under the wire too for August. This is a new project for me. I have been participating in the Designer Mystery quilts for several years. I participated in a few at the beginning, but have been participating every year since 2019. I completed the first three blocks on Sunday. I have the setting kit. I will admit it made it much easier last year (2024) to complete the top when I worked on each setting block each month. I am just not sure I like the setting on this one. It is going to have to either grow on me or I am going to have to find another setting using the fabrics I have with it. Related Images:

Make it Merry – Month 4
One of the things I completed just under the wire for August (on Sunday) was month 4 of Make it Merry. Only two more months to go on this one and then the finishing. Related Images:

Endless Love # 8
Though this is not a true “BOM” program, because there were 12 parts, I decided to break it down into a block a month. I had a “ton of fun” trying to make sure all of the hearts were going the same way. Related Images:
