    August 2025 Recap

It was a very productive month. I didn’t get everything done on my list, but I did get more than I thought I would. I did have one weekend where I did not sew as much. I had a wisdom tooth extracted and was in a lot of pain before it happened. As a reminder, here were my goals. I have linked to the post where I talked about each thing: Not on the List: Related Images:

    2025 Designer Mystery

I snuck these blocks in under the wire too for August. This is a new project for me. I have been participating in the Designer Mystery quilts for several years. I participated in a few at the beginning, but have been participating every year since 2019. I completed the first three blocks on Sunday. I have the setting kit. I will admit it made it much easier last year (2024) to complete the top when I worked on each setting block each month. I am just not sure I like the setting on this one. It is going to have to either grow on me or I am going to have to find another setting using the fabrics I have with it. Related Images:

    Tabletop Banner – October

Working on these tabletop banners have been nice. It gives me a quick completion and makes me feel like I am accomplishing something other than just many blocks towards a quilt. I’ve at least completed the top and next week/month I will get it quilted so it is ready to hang when we put out our halloween decorations. Related Images:
