Cotton Cuts Mystery Quilt
This quilt top comes from the Cotton Cuts Mystery Quilt. These came to me pre-cut. I honestly did not really like the project because I do find the cutting portion to by my most relaxing part of the quilt. I also did not like that I couldn’t starch the fabric and it made it a little more difficult to sew. The top, completed, is not that bad. A little busy for my tastes. I am sure that has more to do with the fabrics I chose than the actual pattern Thouhg I love a good mystery, I don’t think I will be participating in one of these again.. Related Images:

Sparklers
This quilt was from the 2024 Liberty Box from Fat Quarter Shop. The panel and fabric is from Old Glory by Lella Boutique. While I generally do not like to quilt with panels, this was a quick and easy patriotic project. Related Images:

Cali & Co Block of the Month
Coriander Quilts had a free block of the month on her website that started in January. I participated and used her new (at the time) fabric line – Cali & Co. This is a little more busy that I typically like my quilts, but it still turned out ok. I did mess up on the stars. Instead of putting stars only in the cornerstones inside the quilt, I put stars at all the cornerstones. Oh well – a design choice. When doing the cut-of of the stich-and-flip corners of each block they produced a bonus block. I used mine to create a matching table runner: Related Images:

Up on the Rooftop Quilt Along
This top was made from a kit from Fat Quarter shop to participate in their quilt-along for Christmas. I did change several things from the original pattern: I made the “h”‘s more cursive and less pixilated-looking from the original pattern. I also changed the background from a solid black to a grunge fabrice. I added the pieced border to mimic and compliment the divider. The backing has been pieced and the name label has been inset into it. The binding has been cut and prepped. What is left to do? I still need to cut batting and sandwich, quilt, and bind the quilt and put in the date tag. I did have to purchase the black thread so I am waiting on that to quilt it. Related Images:

Endless Love
This quilt kit was gifted to me last Christmas and I treated it as a block of the month since there were 10 sets of blocks. I saw that GE Designs had an extention kit, and though i tried to purchase it and it was out of stock, I winged the pattern based off the image. Related Images:
