    Pieceful Baskets BOM

This block of the month started over a year ago. The patterns came in the Fat Quarter Shop’s Sew Sampler. I bought the kit and started working on the project. You can find out more details here. I decided to add a piano-key border to the quilt as I was not too thrilled about the final layout. I was able to use mostly the generous scraps that Fat Quartershop gives with each kit. I think it adds another nice element to it. I am looking forward to quilting this one as soon as I can clear out some projects off my sewing table. Related Images:

    Pink & Purple

The quilt that is this Month’s UFO project is my pink and purple quilt. I honestly don’t remember where the pattern is from. This was made with a lot of scraps of purples from a online swap many years ago. This top is at last 10 years old. My goal for this month is to get it sandwiched, quilted, and bound. Related Images:

    Trifles

there is something satisfying about seeing a pile of scraps from trimming some blocks being trimmed. This baby quilt will be for a coworkers’ first grandbaby. It got my kitty’s seal of approval. Don’t worry, it will be washed before it is gifted. this is made with Moda fabrics from Me and my Sister – Petal Power using the Trifles quilt pattern by Its Sew Emma. Related Images:

    I need an intervention

i recently was looking for a specific quilt top that I had in my stash to quilt for a specific area in my house for fall. While I was at it, I decided to snap quick photos of the tops so I would remember them. I keep them in a spare bedroom closet since my sewing room closet is out of space. I had 34 quilt tops in that closet!!! Yes I put them on hangers to hang them in the closet. Some have the backing with them, some do not. My goal this next year is to finish a lot of these quilts.
