This quilt was one of my first appliqued quilts. I still really do not like applique (machine or hand), but the way my friend Jo-Anne taught me, makes it a little bearable by hand. The applique pattern is from Sue Garmen. The fabric is a line from French General – French General Favorites. It has small Fleur-de-lis all throughout the fabric – I felt it was perfect for the quilt.
