December Tabletop Banner
This is a cute little 11×14 quilt that is part of a set that shipped once a month. This was the first applique one that I completed. It was really fun to make and it went quicker than I thought. My Janome Continental 8 made quick work of the zig-zagged edges – even the snowflake! Instead of appliqueing down the pieces, I put the top together and stitched around each piece serving as the quilting for this one. Related Images:

November Tabletop Banner
This cute little quilt is November’s Tabletop Quilt. We never ended up decorating for fall/Thanksgiving (we actually still have some Halloween quilts on the wall!), but I completed it anyway for next year. I started this in October and had all intentions of getting it completed then, but I mis-cut one of the fabrics and did not have enough to complete – even as tiny as the pieces were. I had to order a half-yard of fabric to get two 2 inch squares to complete the quilt – what an ordeal! It took an extra week to get the fabric after I had located it – and an additional $20 for fabric and shipping. Anytime I work on a quilt kit that was NOT kitted by The Fat Quarter Shop, it makes me appreciate them even more about how generous they are with their kits. Yes, we pay a little more, but the piece of mind that is there unless you do a MAJOR boo-boo, you should have enough fabric to complete the quilt. They…

December Goals
I have a couple of BOMs that conclude this month. My goal is to complete the top within this same month and quilt & bind it within by the end of next month. Related Images:

Endless Love – Blocks 8 & 9
This was a drug out affair. The first block , Block 8 was not fun at all. It is cute, but not fun to make! I am now ready to make the top. That will be a goal for this month. Related Images:
