January 2022 Goals -Revisited
In January I wanted to: Complete Faux Feathered Stars – all I have left is the sandwiching, quilting, and binding -I only got it sandwiched Month 8 of Designer Mystery -nope Month 4 of Among the Stars – got it done Month 2 of Rose in Bloom – nope Complete Pink Log Cabins – all that is left is the sandwiching, quilting, and binding – -I only got it sandwiched complete the top for Trifles – this is a baby quilt for a coworker’s first grandbaby due in April. APQ UFO Challenge
So I was scrolling on facebook and came across this UFO challenge. I thought it would be good motivation for me to join. Especially since I had already decided to work on my UFOs this year. This will just give me more accountability. I decided to have two lists; one for WIPs in various stages, and one for WNS (works not started). WNS for me is the fabric and pattern have been chosen, but they have not been started. At last count, I probably have about 75 of these. I know. I have a serious buying problem. January Goals
Happy New Year! I hope this finds you well! This year I want to continue what I started last month about posting my goals and being better about blogging my projects. December Goals – Revisited
So – what did I get accomplished that was on my goal list? Complete Faux Feathered Star Months 6 & 7 2021 Designer Mystery Block of the Month Month 3 Among the Stars Block of the Month Sandwich and quilt 2011 Designer Mystery Quilt Complete Faux Feathered Stars – this one was a partial completion. I got the top completed and I got the backing pieced, but sandwiching, quilting, and binding – not done. More on this in another post. Designer Mystery – Block 6
So one of my goals this month was to complete the Block 6 of the designer mystery for 2021. This was a very easy block, even though there were a lot of pieces. This block of the month is turning out to be beautiful. I love Fig Tree fabrics and this line, Strawberries and Rhubarb is absolutely beautiful. I especially like the subtle white on white background.
