Designer Mystery – Block 6
So one of my goals this month was to complete the Block 6 of the designer mystery for 2021. This was a very easy block, even though there were a lot of pieces. This block of the month is turning out to be beautiful. I love Fig Tree fabrics and this line, Strawberries and Rhubarb is absolutely beautiful. I especially like the subtle white on white background. Related Images:

I need an intervention
i recently was looking for a specific quilt top that I had in my stash to quilt for a specific area in my house for fall. While I was at it, I decided to snap quick photos of the tops so I would remember them. I keep them in a spare bedroom closet since my sewing room closet is out of space. I had 34 quilt tops in that closet!!! Yes I put them on hangers to hang them in the closet. Some have the backing with them, some do not. My goal this next year is to finish a lot of these quilts. Going Batty
just in time for Halloween. This is based on the Bats and Boos quilt along from Fat Quarter Shop. I added several borders to the top. I particularly like the pinwheel border. What surprised me the most about making the quilt was I did large scale free motion stippleing on it. It was like riding a bike with my new sewing machine. Related Images:
